A homosexual fell into a pit and couldn't get himself out.
A religious fundamentalist came along and said, "You deserve your pit."
A psychologist came along and said, "Accept your pit. That way, you'll be happy."
A religious liberal came along and said, "Your pit is God's beautiful gift to you."
A gay activist came along and said, "Fight for the right to stay in your pit."
A researcher came along and said "Discrimination against pits is illegal."
A charismatic came along and said, "Just confess that you're not in that pit."
Respectable people came by and said, "We don't associate with pit-dwellers."
The homosexual's mother came by and said, "It's your father's fault you're in that pit."
The homosexual's father came by and said, "It's your mother's fault you're in that pit."
The homosexual's wife came along and said, "It's all my fault you're in that pit."
But Jesus, seeing the man, loved him, and reaching into the pit, put His arms around the man and pulled him out.
This bit of prose, source unknown, is moving, but leaves the reader metaphorically patting Jesus on the back for His intervention in the homosexuals dilemma and excuses the reader from getting involved.
Jesus said " the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing (John 5:19)
Therefore, I have added a line to this prose.
Wanting to be more like Jesus, I rolled up my sleeves - rather than throwing up my arms. I reached up (because I am pitifully lower than the homosexual) and together we gazed at the God who, rather than pitting sinners against each other, said come and follow me.

When Jesus continually stretches out his hand to the person in the pit and they continually refuse his loving invitation; they will perish in the pit.
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins - John 8:24.

P.s As an aside, a geologist would have asked what the strata was like at the bottom of the pit, who cares if the persons gay or not..
...and then the gay person said, "Hey, thanks for getting me out of that pit, but I'm still gay."
And Jesus replied, "Well, Duh. So what's the problem?"
"Well, you know that book about you says..."
And Jesus replied, "Oh no, not that again! What part about 'love one another' don't you people understand?"
And the gay person answered, "Apparently, a lot." (And that's the rest of the story.)
Just what exactly does " giving visibility to the reality of change for the homosexual through JESUS CHRIST" mean?
I hope it means recognizing I am a lowly sinner(regardless of the sin) asking for GOD'S forgiveness through the confession of my sin, accepting CHRIST'S atoning death for my sin's by HIS death on the cross, being born-again into a new nature by repenting of my sin's and finally growing in my faith by obedience to GOD'S HOLY WORD, in a nutshell if you will.
I thank almighty GOD by HIS grace I can have a relationship with HIM through CHRIST, AMEN.
