US Teacher Charged with Insulting Prophet

[-] Text [+]

MANAMA, Bahrain - An American teacher has been charged in Bahrain with insulting the Prophet Muhammad for displaying pictures of Islam's founder to university students, a spokesman for the tiny Gulf nation's general prosecutor said Friday.

The spokesman, Nawaf al-Maawdah, said the pictures showed the prophet in ragged clothing.

Most interpretations of Islam forbid any depiction of Muhammad because it is seen as encouraging idolatry — one of the biggest sins in the religion.

Al-Maawdah's reference to "ragged clothing" suggests the picture showed the prophet in an insulting way, which would make it particularly offensive to many Muslims. The spokesman did not elaborate on what the picture looked like.

He said the teacher also insulted a student for wearing a head scarf, which she described as "a barrier to knowledge." He declined to reveal the name of the teacher or the university.

A U.S. Embassy spokeswoman said she could not release any information about the case or confirm that an American was involved.

According to al-Maawdah, the case has been referred to court, but no trial date has been set. A Bahraini newspaper reported that the teacher in question has left the country.

In 2006, the publishing in Denmark of cartoons depicting the prophet sparked riots across the Muslim world. And last year, a British schoolteacher was prosecuted and sentenced in Sudan for letting her pupils name a teddy bear Muhammad. The British teacher was later pardoned and allowed to leave Sudan.

The incident make me seriously think.

Since Sept 15, our housekeepers and driver all left for their hometown in Central and East Java.
And my wife and I are left to do our laundry, clean our front and back lawn and clean the car.

And I personally do it moaning and whining and cursing Momo.

Then I stopped when seeing this 21 fatality for US$3 charity supply distribution.

Lots of people out there suffers and die, and I need to give more thanks to the good Lord Jesus Christ for all that He has given to my family.

    Shalom to all, rejoice.

A few days ago, in Pasuruan East Java, during a Ramadan zakat distribution to the poor by a wealthy family, 21 elderly women are trampled to death.

In order to get US$3 worth of food supply old ladies packed the small lawn of Hajjah Zaiton house. Once the distribution starts several hundreds people push and shove and kicked and trampled one another.

If Mohammad (yours truly Momo) wants to be insulted, this fatal charity distribution can be categorized as insulting, for zakat distribution is one of the pillar of Islam, said Momo.

The police eventually arrested Hajjah Zaiton and his son Haji Faoukh for negligence and manslaughter.

Muhammad's deeds speak for themselves. Those poor muslims told that is the way a prophet of God behaves! And to immitate that 'prophets' behaviour is so wrong. Muhammad showed them the way mankind's nature really truely is. Jesus showed the world God's real nature. To break the darkness of satan on those lost souls we gotta bring in Jesus! Satan will not give them up without a fight and stirs hatred in them at the Truth, that's how deep there conditioning is in Islam.

Father in the name of Jesus break the hold that satan has on all Islam, bring the Light, Love, and Hope of Christ Jesus, only your Love can break through that darkness and set them free. Amen.

Simply put the Muslim faith does force it's beliefs on others. The secularists here need to wake up and see the treat this really is to national security....everywhere.

The propaganda says that this is from "the religion of peace." The headlines show this set of beliefs to be just the opposite.
