The kids were with a group from Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Ocala, Fla., that was going in a caravan to a Catholic youth conference in Gwinnett County.

A pickup truck that was leading the caravan swerved to avoid hitting some debris in the road. One of the buses hit the truck and the other bus swerved to not hit anyone, leading to those injuries.
