Amal Clooney News: Wife of George Clooney Loses The Engagement Ring for Big Cases

In what could be one of the most admirable moves that Amal Clooney has ever made, the wife of one of Hollywood's biggest names said she won't be wearing her 671 thousand-dollar engagement ring during big case proceedings.

According to Mirror, the 37-year-old thinks her seven-carat engagement ring is "too bling" for her bigger and bolder cases that are supposed to uphold human rights.

A source reportedly told the outlet that she "told friends she wants a more understated engagement ring specifically for when she's working on serious cases," adding that while she is so in love with her diamond ring, she prefers a "simpler" look for her big cases.

There's no doubt people have been doting over her ring as not only does it carry a massive treasure but it also speaks of the man George Clooney is and how much he loves her to get her one of the most sparkling and dazzling stones ever seen in celebrities.

Clooney has reportedly paid a visit to Cartier's and eyed a platinum band that she can pair with her stylish but proper suits during court trials. Her husband is reportedly "completely supportive" of her decision since she doesn't have any plans of getting rid of the ring. She probably just doesn't want all the attention on her bling when it's time for court.

The human rights lawyer tied the knot with 54-year-old George last September, and while she is busy being a wife to the Hollywood icon, she is also busy working for the Doughty Street Chambers in London.

Reports say she has stood up for a good number of big shot people including Julian Assange, founder of WikiLeaks, and former Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Tymoshenko.

George is known for his admiration for his wife and he said previously that she "happens to be one of the smartest people I've ever met."

The beautiful lawyer's latest stint is representing Armenia against a Turkish politician. The case was revealed in January, wherein the battle will be over the 1915 genocide.
