As stated, a 21-year-old Elise Lam was found dead in a water tank. What makes the case so bizarre is the fact that prior to the tank drowning, a hotel video surveillance footage caught Lam having (what appears to be) an elevator haunting issue.

The site went on to mention the shocking information referring to the alleged serial killers Richard "the Nightstalker" Ramirez and Jack Unterweger who, at one time, are inhabitants of the said hotel.

Other sources seem to suggest that the establishment has also been linked to a number of suicides and unexplainable death cases.

The publication also pointed out the hotel's relevance to the case of Elizabeth Short, who was last seen in season one getting a "brand new smile" from a "doctor" residing in the basement.

Although the theories have somehow hit the notes, FX has yet to unveil the plot storyline in the coming months.

"American Horror Story: Hotel" is slated to air this October.
