Euro 2012 Schedule: Portugal vs. Denmark Live Stream, Where to Watch Online

Euro 2012 continues Wednesday with Group B, considered the Group of Death, opening for its second round of matches, beginning with Denmark vs. Portugal at 12 p.m. EST. The game can be watched live on ESPN or online through live streaming (details below).

Portugal enter the game knowing they must win following their defeat against Germany in their opening game. Defeat again today for Portugal would spell their elimination from Euro 2012. On paper Portugal are strong favorites, however Denmark finished ahead of their rivals in qualifying for both Euro 2012 and the World Cup in 2010.

Denmark claimed a shock victory against the highly favored Dutch team in their opening game. The Netherlands were one of the favorites for the tournament, and considering Group B is arguably the toughest in the group stages of Euro 2012, Denmark were expected to finish bottom by many. However, the Danes have immediately imposed themselves on the group and should not be underestimated. They will be looking to continue their good run with a victory today.

Portugal are on a bad run of form, not yet winning a game this year. They have also only scored one goal from their four matches in 2012. However, they undoubtedly have talent in their team and even hit the woodwork twice against the Germans.

Denmark won 2-1 in their qualifying win against Portugal in Copenhagen last October. That result condemned Portugal to a play-off to reach the Euro 2012 finals. That night the Danes cut out Portugal playmaker Cristiano Ronaldo and will be sure to try to do the same today.
