'Game of Thrones' Season 7 Spoilers: Arya Stark Reunites With Nymeria; Liam Cunningham Teases Character Meetings

Fans who have been closely following "Game of Thrones" news already know by now that season 7 is going to be a season of reunions and encounters. Characters who have never shared a storyline before will be meeting, and long-awaited reunions are also in store. But that does not only apply to human characters.

As reported by Watchers on the Wall, it looks like Arya Stark will be reuniting with her direwolf, Nymeria. It can be recalled that Arya had sent her away in season 1 following an altercation with Joffrey Baratheon. The fearsome animal has not been seen since.

However, that may all change come season 7 as actress Maisie Williams has been spotted filming in Calgary, Canada. This also happens to be the exact location of where the direwolves are filmed. And, according to the publication, a wolf who resembles Nymeria was sighted, leading to speculation that a reunion may be in store.

Liam Cunningham and Jacob Anderson, who respectively play Davos Seaworth and Grey Worm, spoke to IGN about the upcoming season and supported the idea that a lot of first-time meetings will be happening.

"So when we've had all these, for all these seasons, disparate stories come from disparate ends of Westeros, it has been – and it's been signaled from the end of last season – that there's a lot of people and situations going to be coming together," Cunningham teased. "It was kind of interesting to meet some people who I normally only meet on a red carpet. Who that is and when that happens remains to be seen."

Cast sightings in various filming locations also give fans an inkling on who may be sharing scenes in the upcoming season. Kit Harington has been seen with Rory McCann, which means Jon Snow and Sandor Clegane, aka the Hound, may be working together. There are also other alliances that are expected to be forming.

"Game of Thrones" season 7 will air in the summer.
