'Gilmore Girls' Updates: Emily and Lorelai Discuss About Rory's Pregnancy

Emily (Kelly Bishop) and Lorelai (Lauren Graham) will band together to support Rory (Alexis Bledel) in the potential second part of the "Gilmore Girls" revival on Netflix.

The Gilmores with definitely stick together to make sure that Rory is okay and healthy during her pregnancy in the sitcom. Spoilers indicate that Emily will play a vital role in her granddaughter's life now that she is facing a huge challenge. In the finale of the four-part event, it was revealed that Rory was pregnant. Her last four words to her mother sent the whole "Gilmore Girls" fandom in a tizzy. Rory never got to tell Lorelai the identity of her baby's father, but the clues point to Logan (Matt Czuchry).

In the revival, Logan and Rory were having an affair even though he was technically engaged to someone else. The Huntzbergers want him to marry a French heiress.

Logan's father, Mitchum (Gregg Henry), likely arranged the marriage for the sake of their family business. He never liked Rory for his son and will presumably be against their marriage in the event that Logan opts to break his engagement to choose Rory.

Emily will do her best to protect her grandchild from the hurtful words of the newspaper tycoon. Both she and Lorelai will make sure that Rory will not feel alone in her situation. They only have each other, even though their relationship as family members is far from perfect. Lorelai personally knows the difficulty of being a single mom. She raised Rory on her own when she refused to marry Christopher (David Sutcliffe).

Meanwhile, fans of the series are worried that Graham's inclusion in HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" is a clue that there will not be a continuation for "Gilmore Girls." Bustle reported though that there would be no scheduling conflicts on the actress' part since "Curb" is most likely done with production by this time.
