'GLOW' Season 2 Spoilers, Cast News: Alison Brie Meets Wrestling Superstar Eileen O' Hara

The cast of "GLOW" started wrestling training for season 2 last September under pro-wrestler Chavo Guerrero Jr. The girls, headed by star Alison Brie, also recently got the chance to meet with superstar Eileen O'Hara, who is known to WWE fans as MTV.

O'Hara is one of the original Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (GLOW) from which the Netflix series is based on. Her stage name MTV is short for Melody Trouble Vixen.

WWE arranged the meeting between O'Hara and the cast of "GLOW" in Los Angeles, according to TMZ. Brie said that she got starstruck about meeting a legend, while O'Hara said she could not hide her excitement.

Meanwhile, Brie has been updating her Instagram followers on the status of "GLOW" season 2. She posted a video of herself on the wrestling ring with Guerrero while the rest of the cast of GLOW looked on.

"Working Sunset Flips today at GLOW S2 training," Brie wrote in her video caption. "My favorite part of this video is the thunderous cry of female support at the end. I work with amazing, loving women and they lift me up every day."

Brie has also gone back to weight lifting and doing 80-lb split squats for her role as the pro-wrestler Ruth Wilder in the comedy series. The actress does all of her stunts on the show, which required her to train extra hard because she had no prior experience fighting on a ring.

Netflix renewed "GLOW" for season 2 in August following a successful summer debut. The show is from Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch while "Orange is the New Black" creator Jenji Kohan is executive producer.

Joining Brie in the comedy are Betty Gilpin (Debbie Eagan), Marc Maron (Sam Sylvia), Britney Young (Carmen Wade), Britt Baron (Justine Biagi) and actresses/wrestlers Kate Nash (Rhonda), Jackie Tohn (Melanie Rosen) and Kia Stevens (Tammie Dawson). Netflix has not yet given a premiere date for season 2 but its return can be expected around 2018.
