Halo 5 Release Date Set for May 2015; Multiplayer Game Beta Version Available this December

Considered to be one of the best first-person shooter video games of all time, developer 343 Industries is yet to release another installment of the Halo franchise – Halo 5: Guardians.

The sequel is reported to arrive in the shelves in the QA 2015, according to Xbox Wire. However, before this year ends, Halo fans will still be able to get their hands on the game this Christmas season as 343 Industries Head Bonnie Ross has confirmed that Halo 5: Guardians beta release date is set for December 2014.

"We are intentionally putting out the beta a year early so we actually can get fans' feedback to make sure that we are building the multiplayer that they want to play," Dualshockers reported.

Beta testing for Halo 5: Guardians will run from December to January 2015.

Meanwhile, Cyberland indicated in their report that Halo 5 for PC is definitely considered and that the Halo: The Master Chief Collection would definitely arrive on the said platform.

Elsewhere, CinemaBlend talks about the major characters in the forthcoming game installment from Microsoft Studious. As confirmed, Agent Locke will be a playable character in the game.

Voice actor Mike Colter shed light the rumors himself when he discussed it on Reddit.

"Once Halo: The Master Chief Collection is released, and then Halo 5 comes out shortly thereafter, you're basically going to be playing a game with me as the primary character. I'll have some cool weaponry, and some cool abilities, because by that time I'll be a Spartan IV," he wrote.
