'House of Cards' Season 6 Spoilers: Frank and Doug Plan Next Move Against Claire

Frank (Kevin Spacey) and his loyal supporter, Douglas Stamper (Michael Kelly), will soon make their move against Claire (Robin Wright) in the potential new season of "House of Cards."

According to IB Times, the former president and his Chief of Staff will waste no time planning Claire's downfall in the new installment. Kelly has said in an interview that the rivalry between husband and wife will continue. With Claire as the new president, Frank will begin to feel the need to take her down and get back the power he thinks should belong to him. Kelly said that the two will work together with LeAnn Harvey (Neve Campbell), and soon, Claire could realize she should never have taken her husband's place as leader of the country.

"We are going to do some bad things along the way, but it's all for the greater good for the American people — we both believe Frank Underwood is the perfect person to the lead the country. But yeah, it's bad for the greater good," Kelly said.

Meanwhile, spoilers reveal that Frank's jealousy of Claire's success will intensify when it becomes evident that the American people seem to love her more compared to him. Indeed, Claire is shaping up to be the most liked president in history. It has already been teased that the masses will find her the better person of the Underwood power couple. Her leadership style is so different from Frank's and she knows how to deal with her audience. If Frank wants to be back in power and prevent Claire from taking away what is his, he should make a move soon.

Of course, his wife will likely be expecting his betrayal. Claire knows that their marriage means nothing to Frank. When he eventually attacks, she will be more than ready to take him on. No one will be able to steal her throne, as far as she is concerned.

Netflix has yet to announce the renewal of "House of Cards."
