In a June interview with Entertainment Weekly, Campbell said that LeAnn's willingness to trust the Underwoods became her downfall. Frank promised her a seat as his Chief of Staff, but it took only half a day before it was taken away from her.

Campbell said that there is no telling what LeAnn would do once she understands how Frank and Claire manipulated everything to benefit them. Still, she would come back with guns blazing, ready to fight for the side she thinks is right.

"I think LeAnn is the kind of person who is willing to take on whatever comes to her. Whether she knew of the challenges with the Underwoods or the extent to which their moral compasses can be off, I don't know about that [Laughs]. But she was ready to come in and fight," Campbell said.

Meanwhile, season 6 will revolve around Claire's new administration. It has already been teased that she would be one of the most loved presidents in the US history. Claire's style of leadership is reportedly different from Frank's. The people will find her fascinating as the first woman leader of the country, to Frank's dismay.

Netflix has yet to announce the renewal of "House of Cards."
