'How to Get Away with Murder' Season 4: Laurel to Blow the Whistle on Jorge
The looming father and daughter fight between Laurel (Karla Souza) and Jorge (Esai Morales) is expected to happen in the upcoming season of "How to Get Away with Murder."
Speculations claim that the probability of Laurel blowing the whistle on her father's crime is high. It was Jorge who ordered Wes' (Alfred Enoch) death. He and Assistant District Attorney Todd Denver (Benito Martinez) planned the whole thing, from the deadly explosion in Annalise's (Viola Davis) house to the murder of Laurel's boyfriend. An old family friend, Dominic (Nicholas Gonzalez), made sure that Wes would die that night. Laurel is still unaware of the truth, though. As far as she is concerned, the ones who killed Wes are the Mahoneys.
Laurel believes that Charles (Wilson Bethel) and Sylvia (Roxanne Hart) conspired to kill her boyfriend out of fear that he would take the Mahoney millions from them. In a previous interview, Souza revealed that Laurel's plan to kill Charles is still on. With regards to her character learning the truth about her father, the actress said Laurel will probably freak out. Viewers should definitely look forward to the next installment, as it will be revealed why Jorge killed Wes.
"I think they're going to humanize my father, so we're going to find out a real reason why he decided to kill Wes, but I do think it has to be rooted in something rather than just for the sake of it," Souza said, according to EW. She adds: "I think she's going to go to the psychiatric ward. It's such a crazy, crazy strong reveal. I don't know how they're going to write it, but I feel that she's already going through so much and already been through so much, so I can't even imagine how she's going to react to that."
Meanwhile, spoilers claim that Laurel may not even get the chance to rat on Jorge. Her father is a dangerous man. Once he realizes that Laurel is on to him, he will likely do everything to stop her. Jorge may even lie and claim that his daughter is losing her mind and lock her up in a mental institution, if needed.
"How to Get Away with Murder" season 4 is expected to return this fall on ABC.
