Slash Leaks recently shared a bunch of promotional images featuring the flagship devices, confirming their curved edges and almost bezel-less design.

The images also showcase a vertical dual camera setup on the back of both handsets. The lenses, which were revealed to be the SUMMLUX-H with f/1.6 aperture (the largest aperture currently available in a smartphone), will be provided by Leica.

These cameras, along with the LED flash, are placed over a textured strip as part of a new design element for the Huawei Mate 10 and Huawei Mate 10 Pro.

The artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities of the flagships were also detailed, revealing that it will recognize up to 14 scenes, which it will use to adjust the settings of the camera.

The AI will also deploy a digital assistant in the camera that can translate text seen through the lenses of the camera without having to connect to the internet.

The Huawei Mate 10 and Huawei Mate 10 Pro will both be powered by the Kirin 970 processor and will house a massive 4,000 mAh battery to keep the lights on.

Interestingly, only the Huawei Mate 10 model was indicated to come with IP67 certification for water and dust resistance, but it is believed the Pro version will get the same rating.

Both the Huawei Mate 10 and Huawei Mate 10 Pro are expected to be unveiled on Oct. 16 along with the Huawei Mate 10 Lite, which is believed to have already been released in China as the Huawei Maimang 6.
