iPhone 6 Plus Review, Size Pros and Cons

The iPhone 6 was one of the most anticipated smartphones that came out this year – if not the most anticipated. Expectations were high for the iPhone 6, especially since the iPhone 5 disappointed with its lack of a visual upgrade since the redesign of the iPhone 4.

One of the most notable features that garnered attention was two variants of the iPhone 6. One was the smaller 4.7-inch variant simply called iPhone 6 and the bigger 5.5-inch variant called the iPhone 6 Plus. It was about time that Apple moved to making bigger phones to compete with the literally growing market of smartphones.

The good thing about the bigger iPhone 6 Plus is that it is one of the better looking phablets out there. If anything, Apple is somewhat know for its premium looking designs with its aluminum body and metallic finishes – albeit of course they come with a premium price.

Being a bigger phone compared to the iPhone 5 means it has a bigger battery, and the bigger battery means better battery life. Not to say that it will last days without having to charge it, it does last longer than its predecessors.

While the 5.5-inch screen pales in comparison to other bigger resolution screen, the full HD display of the iPhone 6 Plus is still bright and high-contrast, partly thanks to the Retina display.

However, its size also causes some problems. For most people with small hands, the iPhone 6 Plus is simply too big to use with one hand. Also, one of the most off-putting qualities of Apple products is the price tag and the iPhone 6 Plus is no exception – it's quite expensive when bought contract-free.
