American Idol contestant Joshua Ledet has earned yet another standing ovation from the judges, prompting Jennifer Lopez to remark that his voice has even shown her the Lord.

Joshua Ledet first tried out for "American Idol" during season 10 but failed to make it to Hollywood. The singer admitted that he was struggling with a death at that time and not quite ready to move on with his singing career. However, all of that has changed this season, as "American Idol" narrows down to the Top Four contestants.

Ledet and Jessica Sanchez have consistently been competing for the number one spot it appears. Both have received the most standing ovations from the judges, although when it comes to stunning the crowd and leaving Jennifer Lopez speechless, it would appear that Ledet does that best. Wednesday night Ledet began by singing "You Raise Me Up," a song which he dedicated to his father.

"I think the whole world knows what I think of Joshua already," Lopez announced on the show. "It was another great performance for you. Keep it consistent till the end. You could wind up right there."

Lopez has appeared to openly favor Ledet over the other contestants. While the crowd seemed impressed by Ledet's first performance, his second performance definitely stunned them.

"You sang your little tush off today again, and I just can't tell you how much I love the way you sing," Steven Tyler said after Ledet sang "It's a Man's Man's Man's World" by James Brown.

However, no one seemed more impressed by Ledet than Lopez who compared his performance to a vision of God.

"I actually went to church," said to a smiling Ledet. "It was amazing. I saw the Lord."

Others agreed that Ledet's performance was heavenly.

"Joshua OMG what a talented and great performer and his singing is something sent down from HEAVEN if he is not in the finals then America doesn't know talent, OMG Joshua and Jessica in the finals what a final it would be," Ken Chavis wrote on the American Idol blog.
