Kylie Jenner and her jetsetter lifestyle have cemented her a spot in the "Top-Earning Reality Stars" list in the United States. Last year, she ranked second, a close contender to her sister, Kim Kardashian-West, who retains the top spot.
According to Forbes, the list includes six members of the Kardashian-Jenner family. Kim is first with total earnings of $51 million, while Kylie, the youngest child of Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Bruce Jenner) and Kris Jenner, earned $18 million.
The 19-year-old TV reality star's fortune reportedly came from the money she got from her family's reality series, product endorsements, and her own company named Kylie Cosmetics. She also owns an app. Her social media endorsements have earned her top dollar. In 2016, she bagged at least eight contracts with top brands, which she endorses on her Instagram account.
Kylie was first placed in the spotlight in 2007 when she joined the rest of her family in the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" franchise. According to The Sun, the Kardashian-Jenners were offered a £70 million or a roughly $88 million deal from E! back in 2015. Kylie reportedly earned around £4000 or $5000 per episode in 2016.
Aside from "Keeping Up With The Kardashians, " Kylie also appeared in other shows including "Kingin' With Tyga," "America's Next Top Model," and "Ridiculousness."
When it comes to endorsements, Kylie allegedly earned £160,000 or $200,000 in her collaboration with the Nicole by OPI cosmetics line in 2013. Her merchandise alone reportedly increased her income by about £16 million or $20 million. Kylie also has her own clothing line with Topshop. Her app is also very popular, with 1.75 million downloads during the first week of its release.
