'Law and Order: SVU' Season 17 Spoilers: 'Hamilton' Stars To Guest; Episode 13 To Feature Complicated Rape Case
American police procedural, legal, crime drama television series "Law and Order: SVU" is returning next week for a new episode and fans should be excited to catch this one as "Hamilton" stars are appearing in the show.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Daveed Diggs and Anthony Ramos are both part of the current hit Broadway musical "Hamilton." But they will be leaving their musical side for a short while and putting on full series drama skills for their guest star roles in episode 13 of "Law and Order: SVU."
Diggs will be reprising his role as defense counsel Louise Henderson while Ramos will be portraying the alleged rapist. To commemorate the moment, Diggs posted on his Instagram account a photo of him on the set together with Ramos and Raul Esparza, who is also a well-known Broadway actor.

As detailed in Enstars, season 17 episode 13 will be titled "Forty-One Witnesses" and it will show Lieutenant Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and her Manhattan Special Victims Unit trying to solve an unusually difficult case. The teaser promo released revealed a rape crime that happened near a residential building.
However, pursuing the case becomes difficult after all the potential witnesses of the crime claimed they did not see anything. They are unwilling to help, choosing to remain silent even though they could be of big help. The clip showed Olivia looking around the apartment complex, unconvinced that nobody saw the crime. She is seen in the clip saying, "There's a hundred windows up there. Somebody saw something."
Design and Trend speculated that the reason why the witnesses refuse to say anything is that the perpetrator could be someone of high position, perhaps a government official or a law enforcement member.
"Law and Order: SVU" season 17 episode 13 is scheduled to air on Wednesday, Feb. 3 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
