Lenovo Vibe P1 Pro Specs News: Features Leaked - Fingerprint Scanner, All-Metal Body
Lenovo may not be as popular in the smartphone niche as it currently is in the PC industry, but it is strongly catching up.
A couple of days ago, several leaked devices have crept up the rumor mill, and reports believe that these devices will launch next month at the IFA event in Berlin.
According to a report by GSM Arena, an unnamed Lenovo device has once again appeared on the Chinese website TENAA. Dubbed as the Lenovo P1c72, the report believes it to be the Vibe P1 Pro that has been leaked together with several other Lenovo handsets earlier this year.
Based on the TENAA listing, the rumored Lenovo Vibe P1 Pro will pack a 5.5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 3GB of RAM, a 1.5GHz octa-core CPU, and a 16GB built-in memory that can be expanded via a microSD.
Other specs mentioned in the listing include a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP front shooter, as well as a massive 4,900mAh battery.
The phone interestingly boasts a hardware button, which is slightly different from previous Lenovo handsets that employ capacitive buttons. The report speculates that the hardware button could be a fingerprint sensor, similar to what OnePlus employed with the OnePlus 2.
The listed weight of the device is at 189g, which could be attributed to a full metal body, although there is nothing to confirm that yet.
