Nintendo Unveils Starter Trainer's Pack for 'Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon'

As the launch of "Pokemon Ultra Sun" and "Pokemon Ultra Moon" approaches, a new pack was revealed this week, giving fans another option to choose from.

The pack is the third version of the two titles, according to a Gamespot report. The first two are the Veteran Trainer's dual pack and Steebook dual pack.

The Starter Trainer's Pack features key items that will help players who are still new to the game, as they take on the early stages of "Ultra Sun and "Ultra Moon." The pack comes with a copy of either of the two titles, and a download code that grants access to 12 Revives used for restoring fallen Pokemon.

Furthermore, it also comes with a special exclusive keychain carrying an image of the game covers' Pokemon, namely, Dusk Mane Necrozma for Ultra Sun, and Dawn Wings Necrozma for Ultra Moon.

Nintendo of America also announced the big reveal via Twitter last Wednesday. They noted that the Starter Trainer's Pack will be "available at participating retailers," although they made no mention of the price tag.

Meanwhile, GameZone also reported that players will also receive Dusk Form, a new type of Lycanroc. Dusk Form has the ability to blend different aspects of both Midday and Midnight forms. It will be available for download only until January 10, 2018, the report added.

In anticipation of the release of "Pokemon Ultra Sun" and "Ultra Moon," Nintendo also announced in a recent Nintendo Direct briefing a Pokemon-themed version of the New 2DS XL. The handheld console features an orange and white color combination. White will be the dominant color while orange will cover the borders as well as the handheld's cover. The D-pad will also be in orange.

The orange and white variant will be the second Pokemon-themed New 2DS XL Nintendo will release. The first takes inspiration from the famous Poke Ball.

"Pokemon Ultra Sun" and "Pokemon Ultra Moon" becomes available on Nov. 17.
