Oppo A73 Specs, Release Date: Device Shows Off Its Unique Design on TENAA
A new midrange Oppo device believed to be the Oppo A73 has popped up on the Chinese certification agency TENAA.
The most striking detail provided by the listing is that it will not have a bottom bezel, which is nothing like users have ever seen in the past.
The latest trend in the mobile scene is a bezel-less design. Majority of the flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S8 duo, LG V30 and iPhone X have shed their bezels for a seamless and premium appearance.
Some manufacturers like Huawei and Vivo have also released midrangers with smaller top and bottom displays including the Honor 9i, Honor 7X and Vivo V7 Plus.
However, Oppo is using a unique approach in the A73 as it is leaving only the forehead, giving it a unique look. This should allow the device to stand out from the rest.
The TENAA listing also revealed the key specs of the smartphone including an octa-core processor clocked at 2.5 GHz paired with 4 GB of random-access memory (RAM) and 32 GB of onboard storage.
On the imaging side, the Oppo A73 will feature a 13 MP camera on the back just above a fingerprint sensor and a 16 MP selfie snapper on the front.
The smartphone will have the Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and will pack a 3,115-mAh battery to keep the lights on for long hours.
There are no details yet as to when the Oppo A73 will see the light of day although its visit to TENAA indicates that it is close to its release.
A mobile device usually pops by the Chinese certification agency as part of the final steps a manufacturer has to do before it hits the shelves. The same is the case for the Oppo A73 so it should come out sooner rather than later.
