'Orange Is the New Black' Season 4 Spoilers: Britney Spears as a Guest Star

The hit series "Orange Is the New Black" is expected to bring in more exciting happenings.

It was reported that the series will see the appearance of a guest star. According to Latin Times, Britney Spears had hinted on the fact that she might be a guest star in the upcoming series.

As exciting as the news, it was said that there was no confirmation yet from Netflix or the production team of the series. However, the rumors already spread to the cast of the series. With that, several stars happily shared their sentiments on the matter.

It was reported that the actress who plays Tiffany "Pennsatucky" Doggett, Taryn Manning, shared how she felt about it. Taryn Manning had previously starred in a film with Britney Spears called "Crossroads." Manning explained that she would be excited to see Spears in "Orange Is the New Black."

Manning said that she was impressed when she was working with Spears on "Crossroads" and that Spears was a good actress. She added that Spears seemed to be very sincere when she was pursuing her role in the previous movie.

However, other reports revealed that Spears will not be the only new potential character in the series. It was said that the fourth season of the series will feature Jolene Purdy from the movie "Donnie Darko." There has yet to be details on her role.

In addition, it was also revealed that Jackie Cruz and Lea Delario will also be entering the new season as regulars, which means that their stories will be explored deeper in the episodes to come.

With "Orange Is the New Black" currently going through production, the series is expected to return on Netflix during the summer of 2016.
