PlayStation Plus April 2017: Sony Reveals List of Free Titles for This Month

Sony has unveiled the list of free games for the month of April, which includes the previously announced "Drawn to Death" by David Jaffe's studio, The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency.

The announcement was made via the PlayStation Blog and sees two titles for each console available free of charge. "Drawn to Death" and "Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime" will be playable for free on the PlayStation 4, while "Invizimals: the Lost Kingdom" and "Alien Rage - Extended Edition" are available on the PlayStation 3. For PS Vita, players can enjoy "10 Second Ninja" and "Curses 'n Chaos" for free. Both titles are available on the PS4 via crossbuy.

PlayStation 4 players are definitely excited for the impending release of "Drawn to Death," a third-person multiplayer shooter and brawler arena-style game. It is set inside a high school student's notebook with sketch visuals and unique playable characters.

On the other hand, Asteroid Base's "Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime" is a multiplayer with four campaigns--Ursa Major, Cetus, Orion and King Cephus--as well as a boss fight. Players fly ships and defend themselves from enemies, all while picking up gems that may help in the gameplay.

Meanwhile, "Alien Rage" is a first-person shooter game developed by CI Games. In it, players must go through many linear levels while fighting against the aliens who turned on the human race. There are also boss fights scattered throughout the game.

"The Order: 1886," "Steins;Gate 0," "Kill All Zombies" and "Shadow Blade Reload" were all rumored to be on the list prior to Sony's big reveal. However, it looks like fans of these four titles will not have the chance to play them this month. It remains to be seen what the succeeding months hold, though.

Sony is expected to update the PlayStation store on April 4, 2017.
