'Poldark' Season 3 Spoilers, News: Heida Reed Teases Fans With Sneak Peek; Eleanor Tomlinson Previews 'Love and Romance'

BBC has yet to reveal a release date for the third season of "Poldark" and fans are already getting antsy. Thankfully, actress Heida Reed, who plays Elizabeth in the series, recently posted a photo on her Instagram account to tide fans over.

The photo features what looks to be a post production process with Reed's character onscreen. As fans know, Elizabeth was revealed to be pregnant in season 2, but she is unsure who the father is. It could be her husband, George (Jack Farthing), or it could be Ross (Aidan Turner). Ross was unfaithful to his wife, Demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson), which the latter found out. She eventually forgave her husband, but the event will surely have a large effect on their marriage in season 3.

While speaking to RadioTimes, Tomlinson revealed that the upcoming season will have "lots of new storylines to explore." This does not only include Ross and Demelza, especially since there are new characters joining the mix. Demelza's brothers, Drake (Harry Richardson) and Sam (Tom York), are also going to be introduced in the new season.

Apart from that, the actress teased that there will be "lots of love and romance, and lots of challenges that are coming for Ross and Demelza." Their love story and eventual marriage has certainly been through a lot. Demelza acknowledges the fact that Ross still has feelings for Elizabeth. He still pines for her, even more so now because his enemy, George, is married to her.

Speaking of George, he is also expected to become more dubious and evil in the third season. This much was revealed by Reed in a special video released by PBS. "George continues to sort of up his villainous level," she said.

The drama and tension is rapidly building, but fans are still in the dark about a premiere date. Nevertheless, the third season of "Poldark" is expected to come out this year.
