'Quantico' Season 3 Spoilers: Can Alex Trust Ryan?
Alex (Priyanka Chopra) cannot trust anyone, even her boyfriend Ryan (Jake McLaughlin), in the upcoming season of "Quantico."
As indicated in spoilers, Alex's world has significantly become smaller now that she is on the run following the death of President Roarke (Dennis Boutsikaris). The U.S. government has issued a huge manhunt for her and Ryan, with all the agencies mobilized to capture them and use force if necessary. She cannot even depend on her connections to her friends since it may lead to her arrest. Even Owen (Blair Underwood), who is the new director of the CIA, will not be able to help her. Harry (Russell Tovey), the British agent and Alex's friend who is returning to the country, may also be used against her.
And then there is Ryan, Alex's lover who sacrificed his own freedom to be with her. He showed up in Alex's getaway plane minutes after Roarke committed suicide. Even though she tried to convince him to leave and forget her, he was adamant that they stay together. There have been instances when the viewers doubted Ryan's motives with Alex. In their line of work, betrayal is rampant and Ryan has been walking the thin line between loyalty and treachery from the beginning. Speculations indicate that he could still sell out Alex and be the reason why she will be sent to jail. If this happens, she will finally prove her suspicions that Ryan has been using her all along.

Meanwhile, Chopra recently talked about the challenges of being an Indian on an American television show. While attending the Toronto International Film Festival soiree, the actress told the audience that she chose to accept the offer to prove something to herself. This kind of opportunity, she said, comes rarely.
"[I] saw it as an opportunity to break the ceiling for actors that look like me," Chopra said. "Once I was asked not to be a part of a cast because I was too ethnic. I didn't realize how hard it was until I came to North America."
"My role in Quantico was not written for an Indian girl," she shared. "I've had people take away films from me because I might not have agreed with them."
According to reports, "Quantico" season 3 will premiere in 2018.
