'Real Housewives' Cast Salaries Revealed: O.C, Beverly Hills and Atlanta
Bravo TV's franchise "The Real Housewives" is arguably among the most successful reality TV franchises today and recently the cast salaries for three out of seven of its series were revealed.
Cast salaries for the Beverly Hills, Orange County and Atlanta series reveal that despite the equally high success rates of each series, there is a disparity among pay grades, with certain housewives earning substantially larger amounts for their roles in each show compared to others, according to Radar Online.
"The Real Housewives of Orange County," which was Bravo's first ever Housewives series pays its oldest cast members close to half a million dollars and newcomers receive far less.
Vicki Gunvalson, an original cast member, reportedly receives the highest income, earning $450,000 per season.
Her best friend, Tamra Barney, is said to be the second highest earner receiving $350,000 per season.
Gretchen Rossi, who joined in season 4 earns $300,000 and her best friend Alexis Bellino, who joined in season 5 is paid $200,000.
Newcomer Heather Dubrow, who some critics believe is the most wealthy of the group, earns the least, which is likely because she joined in season 7 and receives $30,000 per season.
Cast members of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" also earn considerable incomes, although on average it is slightly less than their Orange County counterparts.
Lisa Vanderpump, who like the majority of her cast mates is an original cast member, earns $250,000 per season.
Adrienne Maloof and Kyle Richards, who also signed on from season 1, equally take home $200,000 a piece.
Original cast mate Taylor Armstrong, who some critics predict will leave the show in the near future, takes home $175,000.
Former fashion model Brandi Glanville, who joined in season 3, earns $125,000.
Richards' sister, Kim, who is also an original, takes home $100,000 as does newcomer Yolanda Hadid, who joined for season 3.
