Real Housewives of Atlanta News: Kenya Moore Refuses to Talk About Porsha Williams
Kenya Moore has not shied away from speaking about many things in her life since joining "Real Housewives of Atlanta" but the former beauty queen is making it clear that one topic is off limits.
After attending the WE tv "L.A. Hair" premiere event, Moore was questioned about her "Real Housewives of Atlanta" co-star Porsha Williams. While Moore did not mind speaking about her dress size and only getting along with co-stars Cynthia Bailey and Kandi Burruss, the topic of Porsha Williams was off limits.
When questioned about ever being on good terms with Williams in the future theybf.com reports that Moore said, "I will not answer that question."
Last month season six of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" came to a close with a reunion special that included Williams and Moore getting into a physical altercation. While the altercation consisted of Williams pulling Moore to the floor by her hair, many fans of the show and some of its stars insisted that the latter's use of props provoked the former.
Moore decided to press charges against Williams and previously revealed why she took the liberty of doing so from viewers and fellow cast members. She revealed dealing with a history of abuse that causes her to have no tolerance for it in the present day.
"After being repeatedly attacked by an abusive boyfriend at the age of 17, if someone puts their hands on me, I will not just let it go. With that said, I sought self-defense training developed for the Israeli military," Moore told Ebony magazine last month.
"I've also been trained in weapons. I can take someone down in three moves. It took discipline for me not to respond in kind."
While many claimed Moore's actions on the show were provoking, she defended herself.
"There are many inflammatory statements made by cast members to and about each other particularly during the reunion tapings. Many have made untrue, denigrating, disparaging, and inflammatory statements against me in an attempt to provoke me, but I have never reacted in a violent way," she said.
"My intellect and my brain are my most powerful weapons -- not my fists. If people get so angry that they lose control and admittedly 'black out' and resort to violence, those persons must be held responsible for their actions."
