The specs for the next Samsung wearable is listed on its website and is as follows:
It will be having a 2-inch curved Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 480 x 360. While curved screens aren't unusual in Samsung's smartwatch offerings, the Gear S will be the biggest yet. It will be powered with a dual-core 1.0GHz processor and will be equipped with 512MB of RAM. It will have 4GB of internal memory storage and will have 3G connetivity capabilities.
The battery will be a 300mAh Li-ion which is reported to last two days at most without having to constantly charge it. With today's devices lasting less than a day, two days of continuous usage is a welcome feature.
The Gear S's curved display is designed to fit comfortably on the user's wrist. Customizable clock faces and changeable straps enables users to customize their watches to suit their style and personality. While the Gear S has 3G connectivity, it will also be able to connect to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. This will enable the smartwatch to make and take calls as well as take messages independent of a smartphone.
