SONS Bass Player Departs From Band
Jacob Bundren announced Wednesday in an address to fans that he will no longer be playing together with the rock band, SONS. Bundren has been with the band for more than three years.
SONS band members Ethan, Jake and Aaron wrote a message on their official website with the farewell announcement, "This last weekend our friend, and long-time bassist Jacob Bundren played his final show with us at Agape Festival. Jacob spent 3+ years giving his time, energy and heart to this band and we will be forever grateful."
SONS pointed fans to read Bundren's goodbye note on his blog and to send him love.
Bundren shared in his blog, "The last three years of my life are just a leg in this marathon that we all run. The next chapter is beginning and while I have no clue what it holds, I am excited for it. I'm excited to maintain the relationships I've built and I'm excited to form new ones with the people I've yet to encounter through music, touring, and everyday life."
SONS' first full-length album Keep Quiet came out earlier this year, and their debut single, "Doubt", hit the #10 spot on radio soon after.
