'Supernatural' Season 11 Spoilers, Plot News: Episode 8 To Feature A Young Sam Winchester

Aside from the looming threats brought about by the Darkness, fans of The CW's hit supernatural drama TV series "Supernatural" will yet again see Sam Winchester as a young boy as the brothers take on a case involving the younger sibling's imaginary childhood friend. Meanwhile, this week's episode will see Dean choosing Jenna over the town.

Citing the report from International Business Times, the eighth episode of Season 11 titled "Just My Imagination" will feature actor Dylan Kingwell as Sam's younger self.

The actor took to his social media to express his excitement with the recent casting.

"So excited that I have booked a Guest Star role on #SupernaturalSeason11 can't wait to meet everyone!!!" Kingwell said on his Twitter (via IBTimes).

In the meantime, "Hello Ladies" actor Nate Torrence will be playing Sully, Sam's imaginary childhood friend. The entity is said to be in need of help from the Winchester brothers.

In this week's showing titled "Form and Void," viewers will see Dean and Sam having their own problems to face. The elder sibling helps Jenna, the nurse they met after the Darkness fell, get home safey even at the cost of his other responsibilities. He hurries back to help Sam deal with a town that is infected by a mysterious and deadly gas.

However, the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic hints that things might get out of hand for the brothers. It says "when Jenna falls into dangerous hands, she calls Dean for help." Despite the grave situation at hand, Sam will tell Dean to go back to Jenna and to make sure everything's alright for her. In the meantime, Sam seems to also be in need of some rescuing when the situation with the townspeople who've turned into monsters gets to be too much for him to handle alone.

Find out how things unfold when "Supernatural" Season 11 airs this Wednesday, October 14, at 9 p.m. on The CW.
