'Teen Mom' Amber Portwood Sentenced to 5 Years Jail Again
MTV's Amber Portwood has been sentenced to 5 years in jail after failing to complete a court-ordered drug rehabilitation program.
An Indiana judge had originally sentenced the mother of one to five years in jail for drug possession in January, but offered her the opportunity to avoid the sentence in exchange for successfully completing rehab, which she eventually declined, according to TMZ.
Portwood recently asked the judge to reinstate her original sentence after admitting that she had not been sober or clean from drugs during her time in rehab.

The 22-year-old even told the judge that she will always be "a bad girl," during a recent court appearance and consequently the judge granted her request.
Portwood will be sent to the Indiana Department of Corrections therapeutic community program, which is an incarceration-based treatment program, and will receive credit for the time which she has already served.
Portwood took a plea deal earlier this year and agreed to participate in the rehab program following her December 2011 arrest for drug and probation violation charges that landed her in jail for over two months.
The young mother was publicly scrutinized after a video revealing a violent outburst against her 3-year-old daughter Leah's father, Gary Shirley, was released. It went viral in 2010, which sparked the beginning of her ongoing legal woes.
In the video, Portwood is seen swearing and hitting Shirley in front of their young daughter, which sparked an investigation by Child Protective Services.
Under Indiana law, any person who commits such an offense can be charged with three felonies, conducting abuse in front of a child under 14, domestic violence, along with several related misdemeanors.
It is unclear why Portwood chose jail over the rehab program, but some critics have accused her of neglecting Leah in the process as being in jail prevents her from raising her daughter.
