'Teen Mom' Farrah Abraham Ends Relationship With John Parra, Calls Him 'Controlling'
"Teen Mom" Farrah Abraham has a new book, new music videos, and even made an appearance at New York's Fashion Week, but one thing she no longer has is a significant other. Abraham has revealed that she and John Parra are no longer an item.
"What went wrong was that he was upset I wouldn't kiss him yet and make more time for him and move to L.A.," she told "In Touch" magazine. "He texted me saying he didn't want to talk anymore."
Abraham has only had a few dates since the birth of her daughter, Sophia. She had Sophia with her former boyfriend, Derek Underwood, but he perished in a car accident before Sophia was born. Since then, it has been a rocky road for Abraham, whose struggle to grieve and heal was portrayed on the "Teen Mom" series.
Parra's was perhaps one of the most serious relationships Abraham had been in since Underwood's death. Yet for all of the dates Abraham had been on, she always protected her daughter and refused to introduce her unless she felt it was serious enough of a relationship to do so.
"I have my values in line and I stick to them," she noted. "I'm happy I chose not to touch him or get serious with some guy who seems controlling and clingy. I'm happy I shield Sophia from any guy drama that is caused by whomever I'm dating at the time."
Abraham's memoir "My Teenage Dream Ended" has enjoyed success since its publication in August. It actually made The New York Times' bestseller list, surprising quite a few people. Along with the book, Abraham released two music videos to accompany the book.
The music videos have not enjoyed as much success and have been ridiculed by the vast majority of the public. Abraham wrapped up her time on "Teen Mom" last week with the "Teen Mom Finale Special."
Tonight's episode of the "Teen Mom Finale Special" will feature the stories of Amber Portwood and Maci Bookout and airs on MTV.
