'The Bachelorette' 2014 Spoilers: Who Makes the First Cut? (TRAILER VIDEO)
Tonight a new "Bachelorette" takes the helm in the search for true love. Andi Dorfman is this season's contestant and, given her past on Juan Pablo's season of the "Bachelor," she is unlikely to take much guff from any of the men chosen to vie for her heart. What happens during tonight's 90-minute season opener? Read on to find out.
Andi, of course, is strong-willed and eager to meet the men. Tonight's episode will be different from the other season openers because the men's biographies will not be aired. Instead, viewers will learn about the men much in the same way Andi does … a little bit at a time. Andi's sister arrives to help her get ready for her big introduction to the men and the two spend time chatting about Andi's expectations and hopes for the season.
The men chosen to spend time with Andi during the first rose ceremony are Josh, Eric, Tasos, Nick V., Chris, Marcus, and Marquel. Viewers will get to see more of their interactions with Andi and less of the time she spends with Brian, Cody, Steven, Nick S., Josh B., and Emil. What does that hold for the all-important ceremony?
Well, Nick V. receives the "first impression" rose after telling Andi about his family and that he is the second oldest of 11 kids. However, she doesn't necessarily seem keen or certain about her choice.
"If you'd have asked me at the beginning of the night who my first impression rose would've been, it would've been to someone I straight up attracted to. But I had a great first impression of someone I would not typically go for," Andi tells the cameras.
There is plenty of drama when a former contestant on "Bachelor Pad" and "The Bachelorette" shows up, demanding to at least meet Andi and see if she will let him be on her season. She makes a decision that leaves some upset.
At least one website reports that Josh B., Jason, Rudie, Mike, Steven and Emil are sent packing at the end of the night.
"The Bachelorette" airs on ABC Monday nights.
