'The Flash' season 2 spoilers: How will Cisco handle his newly discovered powers?

It was revealed on "The Flash" season 1 finale that the young genius, Cisco Ramone (Carlos Valdes), has also been affected by the particle accelerator explosion at S.T.A.R. Labs. Harrison Wells/Reverse Flash (Tom Cavanagh) has told Cisco not to be afraid, and said that "a great, and honorable destiny" awaits him now.

According to Wells, Cisco still has traces of the other timeline where he was killed, even if Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) was able to reset the timeline of the universe. Fans will see Cisco struggle in controlling his newly found powers in the upcoming season, according to Carlos Valdes, in his short video interview released by the CW. "He has a future, that future is related to him being affected by [the] particle accelerator explosion," Valdes added.

Valdes also explained where Cisco is having difficulties coming to terms with. He said that unlike Barry, who had a smooth transition to being "The Flash," Cisco will struggle with his ability to "look into the other timeline." "It is very interesting because Cisco is the ultimate fan boy, and he expresses this undying love for the heroes he works and that surrounds him. And now that he is faced with a similar fate he doesn't know how to handle it," Valdes explained.
