'The Mentalist' Season 7 Spoilers, News: Info About Agent Cho Revealed, Release Date Unknown

Season 7 of the hit crime procedural TV series from CBS "The Mentalist" has still yet to see a definitive date for its premiere airing. Nonetheless, titles of the first few episodes have already been released. These are "Nothing But Blue Skies" (as season opener), "The Graybar Hotel," "Orange Blossom Ice Bream," "Pink Rocks," and "Silver Briefcase."

All of the titles have been dated for a 2015 airing date but in what month, it is still unknown. Speculations suggested it would be in January.

Meanwhile, one of the show's favorite mainstays, Tim Kang, who plays Special Agent Kimball Cho, took to his social media to express his excitement for the upcoming season.

"Trust me. This last season will be awesome. @RockmondDunbar, @JpAdler, and @josloren rock! Fantastic actors!!" Kang wrote on his Twitter account.

The statement could be used to shed light on the earlier rumors indicating that Season 7 will see the end of the series.

Furthermore, the 41-year-old Korean-American actor dished out some spoilers saying that fans of his character might see him "smile" more often "while in this season. HA!" Cho has long been known for his witty jokes that are mostly delivered in a deadpan manner.

Other news also indicated the Jane-Lisbon link that is to be expected when the show returns.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Simon Baker revealed that the writers of the show are indeed exploring a romantic story line between his Patrick Jane and Robin Tunney's Teresa Lisbon.

"The transition to the FBI has been able to give us room structurally in the story to explore the potential for a relationship between Jane and Lisbon. The threat of Lisbon parting in a way has been able to give it its due and be able to play it out properly, as opposed to just a sprinkle here and there," Baker said.
