'The Mentalist' Season 7 Spoilers: Simon Baker to Direct 2 Episodes, Lisbon Gets Rival for Thomas Jane's Affection?

Fans of Thomas Jane and Teresa Lisbon are anticipating what's in store for the couple in season 7 of "The Mentalist." Previously, it has been reported that their relationship could go in two ways: either they could get married or they could break up for good.

According to TVLine , a new character will be featured on the show who could be a strong rival of Lisbon for Jane's affection. Actress Josie Loren, who is best known for her role in "Make it or Break It," will play a new character named Michelle Vega. Vega is said to be a rookie FBI agent who is highly skilled in weaponry and martial arts. And what better way to impress a man like Jane who likes his women competent and strong?

Rumors suggest that there could be a little something there between Vega and Jane. This doesn't bode well for Lisbon fans.
