'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' News" Kim Richards Returning to Acting in 'Sharknado 3'

Kim Richards is returning to her acting roots as the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star has confirmed that she will be in the latest installment of the "Sharknado" films.

"I'm in management at Universal Orlando, and I meet up with Claudia Shepherd (Ryan Newman) and her friend, Jess, and I make sure that they get their VIP passes so they can get to the front of the line," she told Hollywood Life.

The "RHOBH" star spoke out after she finished filming all her scenes at Universal Studios theme park in Orlando, Florida last month. The reality star was reportedly excited about the film, but chose to keep mum on whether she'll get eaten by a shark or not.

"I think I'm gonna wait and let you figure that out," she revealed. "I will tell you, they gave me an option: do I want to get eaten, or do I not? It's a hard choice. I made my decision, we made our decision, and I guess you'll have to wait and see."

Before becoming a Housewife, Richards was one of the most popular child actresses of the '70s. She was in 1978's "Return to Witch Mountain" and several TV shows which include "Nanny and the Professor," "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color," "James at 16," and "Hello, Larry." She also had a role in 2009's "Race to Witch Mountain."

The "Sharknado" films have a big fan base due to the made-for-TV-movies' campy nature and celebrity cameos. "Sharknado 3'"will have Tara Reid and Ian Ziering reprising their roles, and they will be joined by David Hasselhoff, who will be playing Ziering's father. Other stars who will be appearing in the film are "Shark Tank" star Mark Cuban, Ann Coulter, Bo Derek, WWE star Chris Jericho, N Sync member Chris Kirkpatrick.

"Sharknado 3" airs on Syfy on Wednesday, July 22 at 9/8c.
