Update on Halle Berry Hospitalization: Announcement by Actress' Representative
Halle Berry's representatives have announced that the Hollywood actress is well and "healthy" after being rushed the hospital with a head injury, following an on-set accident. The rep. explained that she has been checked out and has since been released from hospital.
"Halle Berry suffered a minor head injury while shooting a fight sequence on the set of her film, The Hive. She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released. She'll continue production as planned," Berry's representative told to Liveline Live.
According to various reports the actress was filming on the set of her new movie "The Hive," which is a thriller starring Abigail Breslin and Jennifer Hudson's fiance David Otunga, when she was injured.
The incident took place on Tuesday night around 10 p.m. in Los Angeles, and reports described her as suffering a head injury after falling and hitting her head on the concrete floor.
TMZ has reported she "hit her head on the concrete after taking a nasty fall."
Meanwhile in another report X17 has said that the actress "fell or was hit by a falling object, according to different sources on the set."
Berry, 45, was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center by ambulance, where she underwent tests and was checked out. She has since been released and is thought to be recovering and returning to the set of "The Hive" in the near future.
