  Gama Droiville, a 13-year-old boy from Brooklyn, New York, is thanking God for his miracle recovery after being shot in the head twice last week. The teen was standing with his family at a Flatbush bus stop when two stray bullets from a gunman pierced his head and right eye.

  9 Arrests in Prep School Drug Ring: Teens Sold Cocaine, Ecstasy, Marijuana at Philly Schools

  Nine arrests occurred to take down a prep school drug ring in Philadelphia called the "Main Line Take Over Project," prosecutors announced Monday. Affluent suburban students and graduates of prep schools were looking to run a monopoly of the drug business in the area, selling marijuana, cocaine, hash oil and MDMA to high school and college students.

  Inmate Starved to Death in Kentucky, Prison Doctor Fired

  An inmate starved to death in a Kentucky prison Jan. 16 of this year and now the prison's doctor has been fired and is being investigated for his medical oversights while working there. James Kenneth Embry, a 57-year-old inmate serving the last three years of a nine-year sentence, stopped taking his medication and refused many meals, but lead physician Steve Hiland did little to treat him.

  Keyshawn Johnson was arrested for a domestic dispute Monday with his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Conrad, but the former successful NFL wide receiver for the New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys said he never laid a hand on her. Johnson is currently a commentator for ESPN, and it's unknown if the incident will affect his employment.

  Mike Woodson Fired, Steve Kerr to Coach Knicks?

  Mike Woodson was fired as head coach of the New York Knicks Monday, and his entire coaching staff left with him. Now that Woodson is gone, which was to be expected – the Knicks went 37-45 and failed to make the playoffs – new president Phil Jackson must find a new coach soon, and it's possible he could be looking to Steve Kerr to fill the position.

  Liam Neeson's home was protested by animal rights activists Saturday who were upset that the Taken actor is the sole celebrity voice supporting New York City's horse-drawn carriages. New mayor Bill De Blasio has vowed to replace the horse-drawn carriages with vintage electric carriages, but Neeson said in a recent New York Times editorial that the tradition should be left alone.
