5 Bible Verses for When You Feel Unimportant

When feeling like you just don't matter, here are five Bible verses to remind you that in God's eyes, you are important and worthwhile. All verses are taken from the New International Version.

1) Jeremiah 29:11
"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'"

2) Romans 8:18
"I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us."

3) James 1:2-4
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

4) Isaiah 43:4
"Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life."

5) Romans 5:8
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
