7 Christmas movies for families to watch this season
'Miracle of Christmas'
Sight & Sound will stream their production “Miracle of Christmas” in homes worldwide the first week of December.
The state-of-the-art theater known for its fully immersive productions presents the birth of Jesus in the movie release of “Miracle of Christmas.” The movie is told with its three-story tall sets, live animals and a cast of 50 professional actors who take audiences back to Mary and Joseph's journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem.
“There may be no room at the inn, but God has a lowly stable prepared as the angels announce the coming of the Messiah,” a description of the production reads.
“For 30 years, families from all over the world have joined us to make ‘Miracle of Christmas’ a part of their holiday traditions,” said Katie Miller, director of marketing & communications for Sight & Sound, in a statement shared with CP. “However, we know not every family can make the trip visit us in person. This three-day streaming event on Sight & Sound TV provides us the opportunity to meet families wherever they are in the world and celebrate the ultimate gift of Christmas together.”
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the ministry launched the streaming service Sight & Sound TV. This enables people from over 100 countries to view their live performances.
“Passionate about sharing these stories with as many people as possible, we wanted a way to bring the live theater experience home,” added Miller.
