Aaron Carter Wants Hilary Duff Back After Mike Comrie Divorce: Twitter Post Professes Love for Ex-Disney Singer?

Aaron Carter, the 26-year-old entertainer, might be capitalizing on actress Hilary Duff's defunct marriage by publicly professing his love for her.

Carter took to his Twitter account to retweet an image of Duff, 26, posted by a fan who called the singer "flawless." After posting the image to his own Twitter page, it seemed Carter became nostalgic while speaking about matters of the heart.

"Don't be that stupid (expletive) that loses the love of your life forever.. Like me," he tweeted. "I'll spend the rest of my life trying to better myself to get back to her. I don't care what ANY of you think."

Despite his candid message, Carter made it clear that being so transparent about his feelings was anything but easy.

"That tweet just gave me an anxiety attack," he wrote. "At least I'm real and don't hide behind the persona of being a celebrity and an entertainer, &try to portray positive feelings all the time."

Carters tweets come almost two months after Duff announced her split from her husband of over three years, 33-year-old professional Hockey player Mike Comrie.

Despite the split the pair are reportedly still on good terms.

"Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie have mutually decided to an amicable separation," Duff's representatives said in a statement to E! News last January. "They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other's lives. They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time."

While the pair has dated since 2007, E! is reporting that they drifted apart over time and could not save their marriage after undergoing therapy sessions. Carter began dating Duff when he was 13 years old before breaking up with her to date actress Lindsay Lohan, E! News reports.
