Adam Carolla's Occupy Rant Slams Protestors as 'Self-Entitled Monsters' (VIDEO)
Outspoken comedian Adam Carolla recently blasted the Occupy Wall Street movement and the individuals that support it as “self-entitled monsters.”
Never one to bite his tongue, Carolla’s rant takes aim at the collective mentality of the Occupy protesters.
“Something’s come up in this country that didn't use to exist, which is envy. And it's a big issue," said Carolla, in an interview posted by the conservative Media Research Center.

"It was understood back in the day, and we are empowering, we're now dealing with the first wave of participation trophy, my own fecal matter doesn't stink, empowered, I feel so [expletive] good about myself, everyone's a winner, there's no losers, we're dealing with the first wave of those [expletive] [expletive],” the comedian added.
He cites the “Everyone is a Winner” slogan as being one of the problems that caused such feelings. One example that Carolla used demonstrates how a person with noted talent gets a trophy. Meanwhile, someone without talent does not get a trophy and then complains.
“And then everyone gets involved and everyone gives everyone a participation trophy and then everyone feels good about themselves but it’s not based on anything,” Carolla explained.
Carolla also specifically mentioned in his rant those who are at the root of the problem.
“This has been going on about 20 years or so and those kids were eight and nine years old…people are so far out of it of what they expect and what they think realistic is and what set of rules pertains to them versus the other guys,” Carolla said.
This is not the first time the comedian raised an eyebrow with his sweeping generalizations. He once called people in Hawaii "dumb, stupid, inbred, retarded people” who are some of the "dumbest people we have." These comments were met with anger in Hawaii, and it resulted in the loss of radio affiliates for his show “Loveline” in Hawaii.
He even went after Manny Pacquiao by describing the boxing champion as “illiterate, having brain damage, and being someone who prays to chicken bones.”
He received death threats after those remarks and quickly apologized.
