'Agents of SHIELD' Season 3 Midseason Finale Spoilers: What's Coming In 'Maveth'
ABC's hit superhero drama TV series "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is now ready to kick off its winter finale for Season 3 and fans are already hankering for what might occur in episode.
Citing the spoiler report from Hypable.com, it was revealed that there will certainly be someone who won't make it next year when the show returns to the small screens. The deaths, as further teased by the website, will be "slow, intimate, and strange." Viewers should better brace themselves for these deaths as they will make a "profound and lasting impact" on the series as it moves forward toward its completion.
As for the central topic of the episode for which it is named "Maveth," it appears that fans will finally get to see more clues on its nature and identity. There will certainly be a handful of facts to be given about the Maveth in this segment. However, it seems like it will offer more questions than answers.
Those who are keeping track of the rogue agent Grant Ward might be surprised this week. His change of heart, according to the media outlet, is said to create a "compelling impact" in the story.
Moreover, Hypable cited what executive producer Jeph Loeb said about the mid-season finale's ending which will be full of unexpected twists. As revealed by the EP to the site, the conclusion will leave the characters in an ambivalent position when their sense of loyalty is at stake.
"There's some really big surprises. The [writers] have really outdone themselves, and the cast is so extraordinary," the showrunner told Hypable.
According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic, S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra will once again fight against each other in a decisive battle. Its outcome is said to "change Coulson's world forever." Daisy and her team of Inhumans, on the other hand, will continue to ward off the forces of Hydra. Meanwhile, Coulson and Fitz will take the "ultimate risk."
