Alicia Vikander Spotted in Italy With Michael Fassbender on Their Honeymoon

Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander were spotted in Italy after secretly tying the knot in Spain less than a week ago.

A few days ago, Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander surprised their fans when they secretly tied the knot in the Spanish island of Ibiza. Now, the couple were spotted enjoying the city of Bologna in Italy in what appears to be their romantic honeymoon. The news comes as a fan had posted pictures of the two on the social media platform, Instagram.

The lucky fan, who was able to snap a selfie alongside the power couple while they were dining at the Italian restaurant Osteria Del Capello, immediately took to Instagram to share the photo. Another fan also posted a different snap of the couple in the historical city of Verona, but the post has since been deleted.

Fassbender and Vikander secretly wed on the island of Ibiza, an event which took place last Oct. 14. However, the festivities began a day before the wedding as they gathered for a wonderful lunch in the beach. The wedding party then moved from the shores to the seas as they all went for a sailing trip across the island.

The pair were reportedly surrounded by their closest friends and family, and despite being busy with entertaining their guests, the married couple still found enough time for them to steal hugs and kisses from each other during their Sunday brunch a day after the wedding ceremony.

The "X-Men: Apocalypse" star and the "Tomb Raider" actress first met in 2014 and fell in love on the set of their film "Light Between Oceans" where they played lovers. Fassbender, 40, and Vikander, 29, have kept mum through most of their relationship, and up until now, they are yet to confirm the news of their marriage. However, it should be noted that the couple now sport matching wedding bands on their ring fingers.
