'All My Babies' Mamas' Will Still Debut Despite Protests, Conflicting Reports
"All My Babies' Mamas", a new reality television show slated to premiere on Oxygen networks, is still scheduled to debut despite conflicting reports and thousands of protests.
Carlos "Shawty Lo" Walker, a 36-year-old rapper hailing from Atlanta, Ga., shocked audiences when he appeared in a trailer for the upcoming series featuring his 11 children by 10 different women, and a 19-year-old girlfriend.
Sabrina Lamb was one of the many people who were outraged after watching the trailer of the show, and created a Change.org petition titled "Cancel Shawty-Low show and all programming which demeans girls/women..." that managed to garner nearly 40,000 signatures.

In the letter addressed to Oxygen Media and Electus and DiGa Vision, the parties reportedly responsible for the upcoming programming, Lamb gave specific reasons why the show should not be allowed on television.
"Our Children...our Community... Deserves Better," the creator of the petition wrote. "Ban This Poison. Ban This Television Show."
Although sources from The Daily Beast reportedly said that Oxygen would back out of airing the television show amid backlash, the network denied these reports.
An Oxygen representative reportedly told AllHipHop.com that the show was still scheduled to premiere on its network, despite reports from other media outlets.
"The rumor is simply untrue. The project remains in early development," the Oxygen representative told AllHipHop.com on Tuesday.
However, Oxygen networks reportedly released a statement in The Daily Beast to insist that the network was not stereotyping any specific demographic with the show.
"It was not meant to be a stereotypical representation of everyday life for any one demographic or cross section of society,'' the statement reads.
Although Walker did not speak specifically about the show, he recently defended himself as a father in an MTV News report.
"You can hate all you want to, I didn't ask for it. It just happened. Now that it happened, I'm supposed to turn my back against it?" the rapper told MTV. "If I wasn't taking care of my kids then you would really dog me out, but I'm taking care of my kids, providing for my family. I don't know what else to say."
