'American Crime Story' News: Kris Jenner Is 'Excited and Anxious' for Upcoming Show
It seems the cameras and scripts aren't letting the Kardashians go as an upcoming series will be looking into the life of the family's late patriarch, Robert Kardashian.
As expected, Kris Jenner had something to say about the show titled "American Crime Story: The People v O.J. Simpson." According to People, Jenner, who was married to Kardashian before the defense attorney died in 2003, gave her thoughts on a panel during the NATPE Television convention in Miami.
"I'm excited to see it. I'm excited in a lot of ways, and I'm anxious about it, and I want to see how it turns out, but I've heard it's really good," she said.
Jenner will be played by Selma Blair in the show, and for those who are wondering what the reality star's connection is to the O.J. Simpson trial, Jenner refers to it as "a very dramatic, sad, crazy time in my life and something that was tremendously difficult to go through."
A recent teaser released by FX showed how the Kardashian family were affected by Simpson's case. The patriarch happened to be Simpson's friend and defense attorney at the time of the historical trial that gave the former football player a "not guilty" verdict.
While Jenner is used to the publicity and spotlight, she admitted that it will be "kind of weird" to go through the drama once more when she watches the much-anticipated series.
During the Miami convention, Jenner also mentioned that she was able to speak with Blair and David Schwimmer, who plays Kardashian in the series. The 60-year-old star said she spent hours with Schwimmer on the phone as she shared with the actor how the senior Kardashian was as a person. After all, if anybody knew the man better, it would be Jenner.
Meanwhile, it was reported that the Kardashian children wanted to speak with Schwimmer so they can share their thoughts about their father. However, the actor said he doesn't think it is necessary to talk to the children in terms of learning more about the attorney.
"American Crime Story" will start airing on FX on Feb. 2.
