'American Horror Story: Cult' Episode 5 Spoilers: Leslie Grossman Talks About Meadow's Future; Beverly Brings Kai on TV
Leslie Grossman talks about what lies ahead for Meadow in "American Horror Story: Cult." Meanwhile, Beverly (Adina Porter) brings Kai (Evan Peters) on TV for a news segment.
Although there's no certainty whether Meadow is still alive after Harrison (Billy Eichner) was seen covered in blood, telling the police that his wife is missing, Grossman thinks that Kai is the force that will keep her character going.
"I think that Kai gives Meadow a reason to live, and she just wants someone to tell her who to be. ... I think Kai becomes her north star," Grossman told Variety.
Now that Harrison is done with trying to make their fake marriage work, Meadow will be looking for attention, which what Kai will feed to her.
"I think Meadow just really wants to be seen and loved and appreciated and even though it's incredibly twisted appreciation and attention, that's what Kai is giving her," explained Grossman, adding that her character is just so desperate that Peter's character is her "best option" at the moment.
Grossman isn't allowed to reveal what happens to her character in the series. However, she promises viewers that they're in for a very shocking turn of events involving Meadow.
"I think people are going to freak out. That's all I can tell you! I think people are going to be like, "WHAT?!" revealed the actress.
Meanwhile, Beverly brings Kai in front of the camera to talk to the public about his cult.
The promo for episode 5, titled "Holes," shows Beverly holding the microphone to Kai while he talks to the viewers about how he can offer something better than their leaders.
"Your leaders will not protect you. I alone will bring these killers to justice," Kai says to the camera, preying on the viewers' fears after witnessing the horrible murder inside one of the houses in town.
Viewers can catch "American Horror Story: Cult" every Tuesday night at 10 p.m. EDT on FX.
