"I promise to uphold the standards of this extravaganza and do you proud," says Chester.

"Good riddance. I can't wait for the sour Kraut to leave," snapped his ventriloquist puppet, Marjorie.

Elsa asks Chester to leave the room so she can spend some time with the freaks. She thanks Richard with a gift, a feast, and a screening of the movie "Freaks." The movie is about a group of freaks who conspired to punish a trapeze artist for killing her midget husband over an inheritance. Richard tries to excuse himself, but Maggie tells him to sit down. Desiree presents Richard with a head in a glass jar, and Elsa says that he has to pay. Richard then says that Elsa killed the bearded lady.

Elsa goes to visit Jimmy. His stumps are infected and he is in pain, and moreover, he is livid that they killed his father after he confessed that he killed Ma Petite. It's now sinking in that he has no hands, and Elsa enlists Massimo's help to create new hands for him.

Meanwhile, Bette and Dot are in bed with Chester, and he accidentally knocks his puppet Marjorie to the floor. The puppet gets angry at this and Marjorie makes Chester admit that he killed his wife and her lover, and then the puppet says that the twins should be killed too.

Later, Dandy goes to Bette and Dot and fills them in about Chester's background. At Chester's magic act, the twins are very uncomfortable acting as his assistants, so Maggie volunteers to get in the box.

Chester starts to hallucinate and begins sawing the box. Maggie realizes that something is horribly wrong and screams for help. By the time the freaks get to the box, she is dead. Chester flees, and later, he stabs his puppet. He turns himself over to the police.

The freaks try to hunt down Elsa, but she is already gone, and she has sold the show to Dandy.

"American Horror Story: Freak Show" airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on FX.
