'American Horror Story: Hotel' Spoilers: Jessica Lange Leaving Show, Who's Checking In?
The recently held PaleyFest in Los Angeles this weekend gave the fans and the media the first-hand confirmation on anything about "American Horror Story" and its upcoming installment "Hotel."
Joined by the cast and crew of AHS at the panel discussion, there are several things that have been confirmed. One of which is the long hinted speculation that lead star Jessica Lange won't be checking in for "Hotel."
In front of the large crowd, the Emmy award winner clarified that she will be leaving the popular FX anthology series.
"I'm done," the actress answered when asked by the moderator. "We've had a great run here. I have absolutely loved doing these four characters that I've had the opportunity to play, and in all madness, I love the writers and Ryan and the insanity of shooting it."
But with one coming out, there's two going in. The Hollywood Reporter indicated in their report that executive producer Ryan Murphy's frequent collaborators Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson will be joining the AHS family which will also see the involvement of another newcomer, Lady Gaga.
As for the two gentlemen, THR said that Bomer will take on the "male lead" role while Jackson "will join the ensemble."
The "White Collar" lead star is no stranger to AHS. Followers may remember him appearing for a guest role on last season's "Freak Show." On the other hand, it will be the first time for Jackson to be in AHS.
"American Horror Story: Hotel" is reported to begin production for its 13 episodes this late summer in time for an October opening.
